YOGA is a complete system, which works on all levels,
physical, mental and spiritual. It combines movements, breathing techniques,
relaxation and meditation.
Yoga is a wonderful and gentle way of keeping the body
fit and healthy during pregnancy and preparing the mind and body for childbirth.
It also helps afterwards in the restoration of energy and will facilitate
rapid return of physical efficiency. It will help restore tone and shape to
your internal organs and the muscles of your lower trunk, as well as relax
the upper body and release tension in neck and shoulders from breastfeeding.
The goal of Prenatal Yoga is to help strengthen the
body so that it can better carry the load of pregnancy and to condition it
in preparation for childbirth. The practice of yoga has an energizing and
relaxing effect on both the mind and the body. Yoga movements will strengthen
the muscles of your lower trunk, and improve blood circulation in the pelvic
region. It will maintain flexibility and combat fatigue while relaxation and
breathing techniques will improve circulation and respiration and relieve
physical and mental tension.
Simply Prenatal Yoga classes can be started anytime past your 1st trimester.
There are no starting dates. Classes are ongoing throughout the year, except during public and school holidays. Bookings are made to availability.
SPN can be taken before starting PowerBirth Training course. SPN classes can also be taken along with PowerBirth Training course or PowerBirth Practice if you wanted to attend 2 classes per week
