- Mind Centering Techniques, to strengthen your Mind and train it to remain focused, calm. Mental and emotional steadiness will allow for more and deeper physical relaxation which will support your working uterus by minimising tension and reducing pain production. As a result of your regular practice you will develop mental stamina, reduce or eliminate pain and rediscover your inner strength and learn how to use it.

PowerBirth® 5-week Training
SATURDAYS 10.00am & THURSDAYS 7.00pm
You can start round 20 weeks of pregnancy. Please check the Starting Dates for PowerBirth 5-week Training
You choose to attend SPN classes before PB.
Your first session is 2 hours, followed by four 90 minutes sessions.
The 5 weeks are structured in a sequential manner, training the mind progressively from simple practices to the state of Focus & Relaxed Awareness (FRA).
Classes consist of yoga postures, breathing, mind training, relaxation training & led relaxation, pelvic floor awareness, birth stories in focus, motivational talks & knowledge sharing and many pregnancy & childbirth issues are addressed weekly.
Choose your starting date well so that you will be able to commit to your 5 week-training and practice classes afterwards. Do not book your hospital ante natal classes during the same period! A missed class can only be made up by attending a corresponding session that is presented in another class within the same week so that sequence is not lost.
You may take 2 classes per week: 1 Simply Prenatal Yoga (SPN) & 1 PB training.
PowerBirth® Practice Classes
PB Training is a prerequisite.
SATURDAYS 10.00am & 11.30am, THURSDAYS 10.00am & 7.00pm

PB Practice starts from the week following the Training. It is a continuation of PowerBirth Training. Here you have the opportunity to practice what you have learnt, to deepen and cultivate the mind state that you will take into your childbirth. These classes are a great support to the training course and helps you to stay on track with your practice as well as to keep you calm and fit through the remainder of your pregnancy.
Empowering stories demonstrating self reliance, mental calm, ease and short births from 1st timers are presented at the beginning of each class, and other inspiring stories such as fully self managed births. Visual imagery on birth and processes not presented in the Training are practiced in these classes. The state of FRA is revisited and deepen each week.
A minimum 5 practice is recommended. Mothers usually take classes all the way to their due date. You may choose to take 2 classes per week; 1 SPN & 1 PBP

PowerBirth® Couple Workshop
SUNDAYS 9.30am
PB Training is a prerequisite.
This workshop is available to PowerBirth students and their partners only. It is presented 1 week after completion of PB Training.
